Who we are
Who we are
Sustainability Assistance for All (SAFA) is a women-led, community-based organization dedicated to promoting dignity, care, and inclusion for the most vulnerable members of society in Somalia. Founded on the principles of compassion, equity, and sustainability, SAFA works tirelessly to assist and advocate for children, persons with disabilities, elderly individuals, and animals — groups often overlooked in humanitarian and development efforts.
Headquartered in Mogadishu, Somalia, SAFA operates at the grassroots level to implement inclusive, people-centered, and sustainable interventions that respond to both immediate needs and long-term resilience goals.
Our misstion
To promote the well-being, rights, and inclusion of marginalized populations — especially children, people with disabilities, the elderly, and animals — through sustainable assistance, advocacy, and community-driven programming.

A compassionate, inclusive, and sustainable Somalia where all beings — human and animal — live with dignity, protection, and care.
Our Approach
SAFA uses a rights-based and community-driven approach, ensuring that beneficiaries are not only recipients but active participants in shaping their future. Our programs are informed by local context, guided by global standards, and driven by the leadership of Somali women.
